Congratulations, you’ve completed your Basic Handgun Safety class, gone through the licensing process, and you’re now officially licensed to purchase, possess, and carry a handgun in Massachusetts. Hopefully, you’ve done plenty of research before buying your first gun, and now that you have it, it’s time to learn all the aspects of it and work on developing your skills.
This is a member only class, led by Mark Vaz, that will review some of the basic of safety you learned in your LTC class, apply some of the theoretical subjects you touched on through hands-on application, and work on some useful drills so you can maximize your time at the range and grow more comfortable and competent with your gun.

Clear and show safe- unloading your gun

Proper grip and stance- establishing natural point of aim to ensure repeatability

Clearing common stoppages

Dry fire drills

Maintaining safe direction from rest to ready

Magazine changes

Introduction to different stances/holds

Shooting drills to build your skills

Disassembly and reassembly of your gun
You will need to bring your firearm, at least one spare magazine, eye and ear protection, targets, and 50+ rounds of target ammunition.
Registration is open to members only, and MEMBERS MUST LOGIN TO REGISTER.
The cost is $75, payable in advance by check to Mark Vaz. The class size limited to 4 participants.
